ZCCHC6 is a 1,495 amino acid uridylyltransferase that mediates RNA uridylation. A member of the DNA polymerase type-B-like family, ZCCHC6 contains three CCHC-type zinc fingers and two PAP-associated domains, and exists as six alternatively spliced isoforms. The gene encoding ZCCHC6 maps to human chromosome 9q21.33 and mouse chromosome 13 B2. Function: Uridylyltransferase that mediates the terminal uridylation of some specific RNAs. Not involved in uridylation of precursor let-7 (pre-let-7) miRNA. Does not play a role in replication-dependent histone mRNA degradation. Similarity: Belongs to the DNA polymerase type-B-like family. Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded (Mouse brain); Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30min; Antibody incubation with (ZCCHC6) Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-18555R) at 1:400 overnight at 4°C, followed by operating according to SP Kit(Rabbit) (sp-0023) instructionsand DAB staining.
